About the Author

I read, write and ride, to sum up my three favourite hobbies. Some of my my other interests are animals, music, panio playing, agriculture, swimming and classic literature and movies. My favourite authors are C.S Lewis, Jane Austen, Louisa May Alcott, L.M. Montgomary and Eylene Mitchell.

I am a christian home schooled girl. I have always home schooled and I asked Jesus into my heart at five. I am an evangelical christian who believes in touching the lives of others around us. I am also pro-life and I believe true love waits. 

I love creative writing. I started my first novel at age ten called 'The Super Six.' It was a mystery story, but I ran into a lot of trouble copying Enid Blyton's writing style. When I realised I couldn't finish it, I was discouraged, and didn't attempt another novel until six months later, when I thought of the story Jilla. 

My inspiration for creative writing comes from my beautiful horses and my love of farm life. 

I love horses, and always have. It runs in my blood. My wonderful father shares my passion and taught me to ride. Dad put me on the back of a horse at age one, and that did it, I have been horse crazy since. I owned my first pony Bobby at seven. I was taught to ride using Natural Horsemanship. 

A few years ago I had to give my Bobby to another little girl, because he was too small for me along with other health reasons on Bobby's side. I miss him and still love him very much, but my current horse is Beauty a beautiful three-year-old, quarter horse bay mare, whom I adore.

This is a little more about me. I hope have enjoyed it.
